How do I create a barcode with GTIN, batch and expiry data (GS1-128)?
Choose GS1-128 or GS1 DataBar Expanded as the type, then use the guided field builder in the Content tab — enter the GTIN, batch/lot number, production date, and expiry date in their own fields and StatFlare formats the correct GS1 Application Identifier string automatically. You can also type a raw bracketed AI string directly if you already have one.
What export formats are available?
PNG, SVG, PDF, EPS, JPG and WebP. SVG and EPS are vector and stay perfectly sharp at any size — the right choice for professional print production. PNG supports a transparent background. PDF and EPS respect the Print-Ready toggle, which enforces at least 300 DPI and adds a bleed margin.
Can I generate hundreds or thousands of barcodes at once?
Yes, via the Batch tab. Upload a CSV or Excel file with a column of values (up to 10,000 rows), and StatFlare renders one barcode per row using your current design settings, then bundles everything into a single ZIP download — entirely in your browser, so nothing is uploaded to a server.
What is the Product Mockup Preview?
A live composite of your actual barcode on 30+ real-world surfaces — business cards, product boxes, bottle labels, shipping boxes, shelf tags, tickets, and more — so you can see how it will look in context before you print anything, without needing separate design software.
How do I know if my barcode will actually scan reliably?
The Scan Test panel runs real checks against your current settings: bar/background contrast (WCAG luminance ratio), quiet zone width, bar width safety for printing, and background transparency — each with a pass/fail explanation and a concrete suggestion if something needs attention.
Does StatFlare validate the barcode value before I download it?
Yes, in two layers. A fast client-side check catches obvious length/character-set problems as you type, and the actual encoder (the same one used to draw the barcode) is the final authority — any value it can't encode throws a descriptive error explaining exactly what's wrong, shown directly in the interface.
