1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StatFlare ('the Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, guests, and registered users.

2. Description of Service

StatFlare is a free YouTube channel analytics platform. We fetch publicly available data from the YouTube Data API v3 and generate AI-powered insights using Anthropic's Claude API. The Service is provided 'as is' and is subject to change at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use StatFlare. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

4. User Accounts

  • Registration: You may use StatFlare as a guest or sign in with Google or GitHub. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • Accurate information: You agree to provide accurate information during sign-up and keep it up to date.
  • Account termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • –Attempt to circumvent rate limits or credit systems by any technical means
  • –Use automated scripts or bots to mass-analyze channels without permission
  • –Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person or organization
  • –Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or replicate the Service
  • –Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or YouTube's Terms of Service

6. Credits and Rate Limits

StatFlare uses a credit system to manage access to the YouTube API. Logged-in users receive 5 free credits per day. Guest users receive 3 credits per day by IP. Additional credits may be earned by watching rewarded ads. Credits are not transferable and have no monetary value.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding on StatFlare is owned by StatFlare or its licensors. YouTube channel data displayed on the platform is owned by the respective channel creators and is fetched via the YouTube Data API under Google's terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of StatFlare's proprietary content without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the analytics data. YouTube API data reflects public statistics and may differ from YouTube Studio due to caching or API lag.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StatFlare and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new 'Last updated' date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
