A lot of the Spotify analytics advice still circulating online describes fields that no longer exist. Every row below was checked against live API responses rather than against the documentation, which still lists some of them.

Why chart rankings do not come from Spotify
Spotify's own Top 50 charts are editorial and algorithmic playlists, and Spotify blocked that entire category for every app created after November 2024. There is no API path to Spotify's chart, and spotifycharts.com has no public API either.
Rather than fabricate a ranking or scrape a login-walled page, rank comes from Apple Music's public daily feed — a real, independent, daily-updated chart with no key and no quota — and Spotify is used for what it can still legitimately answer: resolving each entry to a real catalogue record so the row links into Spotify. No figure on these pages is a Spotify stream count, because no such number is available to anyone through the public API.
